Homemade cookies are a traditional treat of Russian cuisine that brings warmth to family evenings and cozy tea gatherings. Their origin is rooted in home baking, where simple ingredients transform into a fragrant wonder. Cookies have a tender, slightly crumbly texture, and their sweet flavor with a milky hint makes them perfect for hot tea or coffee. Thanks to the melted butter, they gain softness and richness, while the light crispy crust provides a pleasant sensation with every bite. They can be made with a minimal set of ingredients, and the molds allow for various shapes, making the creation process especially enjoyable. The main thing is to store them in a closed container to maintain freshness and softness. Homemade cookies are a true symbol of comfort and simple joys of life.

1
Soften the butter to room temperature, add sugar, and beat.

- Milk: 150 ml
3
Add two pinches of baking soda and baking powder, mix, then add flour.

Use molds (or molds from any plastic bottle like I did) to cut out cookies. Then roll the leftover dough into a ball and roll out the sheet again to cut more cookies. Repeat this until the dough is finished.

After that, place the cookies on a baking sheet, brush them with the reserved half of the egg mixture, and put them in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 10-12 minutes until they are browned at the edges. Then remove and cool. It is advisable to store them in molds, as they become hard and dry out.
