Chocolate biscuit cookies (crackers)
2 servings
45 minutes
Chocolate galette cookies are a fragrant blend of oat flour, cocoa, and spices that create a crispy yet tender dessert. This recipe is inspired by European traditions of light baking, where the simplicity of ingredients and minimal processing allow the natural flavors to shine through. The crackers have a subtle chocolate hue enriched with sweet notes of honey and the warm aroma of cinnamon or vanilla. Coconut flakes add a light exotic touch, making the cookies even more refined. They are convenient to take on the go, serve with tea or coffee, and can also be used as a base for desserts. The simplicity of preparation and healthy ingredients make this recipe an excellent choice for those who appreciate natural and healthy treats.

1
In a bowl, mix oat flour (grind the grains in a coffee grinder/blender), cocoa, salt, baking powder, cinnamon/vanilla, and coconut flakes.
- Oatmeal: 50 g
- Cocoa powder: 1 teaspoon
- Baking powder: 0.3 teaspoon
- Salt: pinch
- Coconut flakes: to taste
- Ground cinnamon: to taste
- Vanillin: to taste
2
Add vegetable oil and mix.
- Olive oil: 1 teaspoon
3
Slowly pour water with honey. Knead a flexible dough.
- Water: 30 ml
- Honey: 0.5 teaspoon
4
Roll out the dough on a floured surface to a thickness of about 2-3 mm, and cut out shapes with a cutter (you can use a glass/mug).
5
Gather the dough scraps, knead them, roll out again into a sheet and cut out shapes again, and do this until the dough is used up as much as possible. Alternatively, you can just roll it out and cut it into squares for a quicker result.
6
Place the crackers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
7
Send to a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
