Peel, chop, and sauté the onion in vegetable oil until lightly golden. Let it cool.
- Onion: 300 g
- Butter: 2 teaspoons

Sift the flour, make a well in the center and add warmed (not more than 40°C) milk, salt, sugar, melted butter, and yeast.
- Milk: 200 ml
- Salt: 2 teaspoons
- Sugar: 2 teaspoons
- Butter: 2 teaspoons
- Dry yeast: 10 g

Mix the ingredients until a uniform, non-sticky mass, add the onion, and start kneading the dough (it is important to knead for at least 20 minutes)

Leave the dough for 2 hours. Then knead and mix again for 5 minutes.

Shape the loaf, make decorative cuts.

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Line a baking tray/form with parchment paper. Bake for 40 minutes until golden brown.

To give the product an appetizing glossy shine, beat the yolk and brush the bread 7 minutes before it's done. After cooking, let the bread rest for 7-10 minutes. The baked goods look great with sesame and herbs.
