Simple cinnamon cookies are the embodiment of home comfort and delicate flavor. This European dessert has a long history as its base is classic shortcrust pastry popular in many countries. The addition of cinnamon gives the cookies a warm, slightly spicy aroma that perfectly complements the crunchy sugar crust. Their taste is delicate and sweet with a hint of cinnamon that makes the baking truly special. These cookies are perfect for cozy evenings with a cup of hot tea or coffee. They are easy to make and delight both adults and children. The moderately crumbly texture, crispy crust, and aromatic warmth of cinnamon make these cookies an ideal choice for pleasant moments.

1
Mix sugar and cinnamon in a ratio of about 5:1.
- Sugar: 200 g
- Cinnamon: to taste
2
Mix eggs, flour, butter, sugar, and mayonnaise to get a homogeneous mass. Divide the resulting dough into pieces of about 30 grams each.
- Chicken egg: 2 pieces
- Wheat flour: 400 g
- Butter: 200 g
- Sugar: 200 g
- Mayonnaise: 200 g
3
Form a ball from each piece of dough, flatten it, and roll it in cinnamon mixed with sugar. If there is little sugar, the cookies will turn dark and look slightly burnt. If the cinnamon is well mixed with a lot of sugar, the cookies will look quite different and only slightly 'tanned'.
- Cinnamon: to taste
- Sugar: 200 g
4
Place the cookies on the baking sheet. There's no need to grease the sheet beforehand - the dough is already fatty.
5
Bake for 20 minutes at 170 degrees.
6
Serve the cookies cooled.
