Yeast wheat bread is a symbol of home comfort and Russian culinary traditions. Its history goes back centuries when bread was the staple of nutrition. This aromatic, airy, and tender bread with a thin crispy crust pairs well with any dish—from soups to sweet jams. It has a soft, slightly sweet taste due to the sugar added, while the yeast gives it a pleasant porous texture. Such bread is perfect for a hearty breakfast, sandwiches, or simply with tea and honey. During the preparation process, the dough goes through several stages that allow it to expand and become incredibly airy. The smell of fresh bread filling the home creates a cozy atmosphere, and a slice of warm yeast bread becomes a true gastronomic delight.

1
In a bowl, dissolve sugar and yeast in warm water and mix. The water should be very warm, but not hot. Cover and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until bubbles appear.
- Water: 400 ml
- Sugar: 2 tablespoons
- Dry yeast: 1.5 teaspoon

Then add salt and oil. Mix and start kneading, adding 1 cup of flour at a time. Knead the dough until it stops sticking to your hands (do not add extra flour). Form a ball from the dough. Grease the bowl with vegetable oil and 'roll' the dough in it to coat with oil. Cover with a towel and leave in a warm place until it doubles in size.
- Salt: 1.5 teaspoon
- Vegetable oil: 50 ml
- Wheat flour: 5 glass
- Vegetable oil: 50 ml

We roll out the dough, knead it for 2 minutes, and shape the bread or place it in a mold. After 30 minutes, when the dough has risen in the molds, we put it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees and bake for 30 minutes.

Immediately remove the baked bread from the mold and cool it on a rack.
