Glazed curd cheese

Glazed cottage cheese bar is a true gastronomic symbol of childhood and cozy family evenings. This dessert originates from Russian cuisine, where cottage cheese has been the basis of many dishes for centuries. The delicate cottage cheese mass enriched with butter and vanilla aroma transforms into an exquisite snack covered with a layer of dark chocolate. The glaze adds contrast to the taste: soft, sweetish cottage cheese and dense, rich chocolate. The bar is perfect as a dessert or snack, and its convenient shape makes it popular among children and adults. Chilled, it melts in the mouth, providing a pleasant sensation of creamy tenderness complemented by a slight bitterness of chocolate. This treat is not only delicious but also nutritious—protein-rich cottage cheese makes it an excellent choice for satisfying yet light enjoyment.

1
Blend cottage cheese, sugar, vanillin, and sour cream in a blender or food processor. Melt butter in the microwave and add it to the cheese mixture. Mix everything thoroughly and pour into cups (I used small disposable 100 g cups available in every store).
- Cottage cheese: 600 g
- Sugar: 8 tablespoons
- Sour cream: 4 tablespoons
- Vanillin: to taste
- Butter: 50 g

I had such sticks, and instead, you can also use ice cream sticks. Insert the sticks into cups filled with cheese mass and place them in the freezer overnight. The ready frozen cheeses can be easily released from the cups by placing them under hot water for a few seconds.

Glaze: 100–150 g dark chocolate, 4–6 tablespoons vegetable oil. Break the chocolate into pieces and add oil. Heat in the microwave or over a water bath until the chocolate is fully melted. Pour chocolate over half of the curd, place in the freezer for a few minutes, then glaze the other half.
- Dark chocolate: 100 g
- Vegetable oil: 4 tablespoons
