Quick choux yeast dough for pies

60 minutes
Quickly prepared yeast-free dough for pies is a find for home baking lovers. In Russian cuisine, pies hold a special place as a symbol of coziness and hospitality. This dough is soft and airy due to a special cooking method: boiling flour with hot water ensures elasticity, while yeast adds fluffiness. The ease of kneading and quick rising make it ideal for those who value time but don't want to sacrifice taste. The finished pies are golden brown with a crispy crust and tender filling, and the variety of fillings allows for experimentation. This dough is great for frying while maintaining its structure and flavor. A wonderful choice for a cozy family tea time!

After the mixture cools, add 50 g of yeast (I use fresh wet yeast) (dry yeast at a ratio of 1:3) and another cup of lukewarm water, 4 cups of flour (250 g each). Knead the dough like for pies. Divide into portioned balls, let rise for about 5 minutes, place filling inside, and fry in a large amount of sunflower oil.
