Colorful American cookies are a joy in every bite. These cookies are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, filled with bright M&M’s candies that give them a cheerful look and a light caramel sweetness. The origin of cookies traces back to American cuisine, where they became a symbol of home comfort and hospitality. The vanilla aroma, rich buttery flavor, and combination of two types of sugar create the perfect balance of sweetness. These cookies are not only delicious but also ideal for festive occasions, gifts, or simply cozy tea time. Their simplicity in preparation makes them a favorite recipe among beginners and experienced bakers alike. Enjoy every bite of this classic!

1
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
2
Beat room temperature butter with two types of sugar and vanilla until fluffy.
- Butter: 120 g
- Cane sugar: 80 g
- Sugar: 80 g
- Vanillin: 1 teaspoon
3
Add an egg to the mixture and continue whisking.
- Chicken egg: 1 piece
4
In a separate bowl, mix the flour with the baking powder. Add the previously prepared mixture to the dry ingredients and knead the dough.
- Wheat flour: 150 g
- Baking powder: 1 teaspoon
5
Line the baking tray with parchment paper. Place small portions of the future cookies (using a spoon) at a sufficient distance from each other, as the dough will spread. You will need to bake about 3 medium trays for all the cookies (which will yield about 20 small cookies or 15 larger ones).
6
Now individually place candies on top of each cookie, gently pressing them into the dough.
- M&M's candies: 100 g
7
Bake for about 15 minutes (no longer than 20 minutes) depending on the oven.
8
Once cooked, carefully place the cookies on a cooling rack (you can place them directly on the baking paper).
