Yeast-free donuts are a cozy treat from Russian cuisine that delights with their tenderness and lightness. Their history traces back to old village recipes where housewives made pastries without yeast using simple and accessible ingredients. These donuts have a pleasant vanilla aroma and light sweetness, and thanks to kefir and soda, they turn out airy and soft.
