Apple pie in a multicooker is a cozy and heartwarming dish of Russian cuisine that warms and delights with its homemade taste. Its roots go back to traditional apple baking recipes popular in Russian families. The delicate dough, infused with the aroma of vanilla sugar, envelops juicy pieces of apples, creating a harmony of sweetness and slight tartness. Cooked in a multicooker, the pie retains its softness and airiness, while the caramelized apple base adds a special touch. This dessert is perfect for cozy tea gatherings with loved ones and as a sweet addition to family lunch. Serving it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a spoonful of sour cream will highlight its exquisite flavor.

1
Peel and slice the apples. Drizzle with lemon juice to prevent browning.
- Apple: 4 pieces
- Lemon: 0.5 piece
2
Melt the butter in the slow cooker on the warming mode (then you won't need to grease it). Pour the melted butter into a bowl and mix with sugar and vanilla sugar (leave a little vanilla sugar for decoration). Add the eggs one by one, beating well with a fork or mixer. Add the sour cream and mix.
- Butter: 100 g
- Sugar: 1 glass
- Vanilla sugar: 30 g
- Chicken egg: 2 pieces
- Sour cream: 5 tablespoon

Mix flour, baking soda, and salt, quickly add to the dough, do not knead for long. Place about a third of the apples at the bottom of the pot (the bottom should be oily from melted butter; you can melt an extra piece if needed).
- Wheat flour: 1.5 glass
- Baking powder: 1 teaspoon
- Apple: 4 pieces

Add the remaining apples to the batter and mix. Place the batter on top of the apples, close the lid, set the 'Baking' mode for 1 hour, then let it sit for another 15-20 minutes in warming mode. Flip it from the pot onto a plate and sprinkle the top with vanilla sugar, if available.
