Pretzel is a legendary German pastry with roots in the Middle Ages. Its recognizable shape symbolizes luck and prosperity, while its unique taste combines a crispy crust with a soft, airy center. Traditionally served with beer or aromatic cheese, it also pairs well with butter or jam. The secret to its unique flavor lies in boiling it in a baking soda solution before baking, giving it a rich aroma and appetizing golden color. Its bread-like, slightly salty taste makes pretzel a versatile addition to any table. In Germany, it can be found on streets, markets, and bakeries and remains one of the most beloved national delicacies.

Preheat the milk. Pour it into a mixing bowl, add the yeast, mix, and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Add salt and flour, mix. Cover with plastic wrap and leave in a warm place for 20 minutes.
