Fruit casserole with cottage cheese is a delicate and aromatic dessert that comes from European cuisine. Its base is cottage cheese, known for its lightness and health benefits, while added fruits provide juiciness and freshness. The slight acidity of orange zest complements the sweetness of the casserole, while peaches, nectarines, and plums reveal a layered flavor profile. The dish is perfect for both morning breakfast and cozy tea time. The casserole turns out airy with a caramelized fruit crust, and its tender texture makes each bite a true delight. The versatility of the dish allows for the use of various seasonal fruits to create new flavor variations. This treat is great for both children and adults while remaining a light and nutritious snack.
