Striped pie for the lazy is a simple yet striking dessert that delights with its original appearance and delicate taste. Its history traces back to traditional European pies where the alternation of light and chocolate dough creates a stunning striped pattern. The ease of preparation makes this pie an excellent choice for those who want to enjoy delicious baking without complicated manipulations. The taste of the pie is soft, airy, and slightly moist thanks to the sour cream in the recipe, while cocoa adds a pleasant chocolate note. It can be decorated with jam, nuts, or glaze, adding individuality and making the dessert even more appetizing. Perfect for morning coffee or evening tea!

1
Separate the whites from the yolks. Whip them until frothy, add sugar, continuing to beat at medium speed with a mixer. Then add the yolks one by one.
- Chicken egg: 5 piece
- Sugar: 250 g
2
Next, add the melted butter and mix gently with a spoon to avoid knocking out the oxygen. This may affect the volume of the pie later.
- Butter: 150 g
3
Add baking powder to the flour and sift it into our mixture gradually, not all at once 400 grams!!!
- Wheat flour: 400 g
- Baking powder: 1 teaspoon
4
We divide the dough into 2 parts, add cocoa to one of them, and mix until smooth.
- Cocoa powder: 3 g
5
Grease the baking pan with oil, and for convenience, you can line it with parchment paper. First, place 2 tablespoons in the center of the pan, then add a spoonful of cocoa batter, and alternate until the batter is finished!
- Butter: 150 g
6
Preheat the oven to 170 degrees and bake for 30-40 minutes. If the top browns too much, it can be covered with foil. Check readiness with a wooden skewer; if it comes out dry, the pie is ready.
7
We let it cool and decorate it to our taste! In my case, it was raspberry jam and walnuts. It would also be delicious to cover it with chocolate glaze or milk cream.
- Sugar: 250 g
