The GOST cake is a true example of classic Russian baking, familiar to many since childhood. Its recipe was developed according to strict state standards, ensuring consistent quality and taste. This cake features a delicate, airy texture and pleasant sweetness due to the carefully whipped mixture of butter, sugar, and eggs. The addition of starch makes the dough softer and velvety, while the slow baking process gives it a golden crust. The flavor of this cake is a harmony of creamy tenderness and light vanilla sweetness, making it perfect with tea or coffee. An ideal choice for cozy home evenings or as a classic dessert for festive tables. Its simplicity in preparation and time-tested ingredients make it a favorite among many generations.
