Coffee dessert with wafers and cream

6 servings

40 minutes

This exquisite coffee dessert made of wafers and cream embodies Italian sophistication and a love for balanced flavors. Its roots trace back to the traditions of Italian sweets, where airy whipped cream, delicate mascarpone, and rich coffee aroma create a harmony of textures and tastes. Crispy wafers soak up the cream, becoming soft yet retaining a light structure. Each spoonful of this dessert is a dive into a world of silky sweetness with a subtle bitterness of coffee and chocolate. Perfect for finishing off dinner or enjoying a cozy evening with a cup of espresso. After long cooling, the dessert gains richness, while cocoa adds an exquisite bitterness, making it reminiscent of tiramisu but with a unique texture and structure. Gourmets will appreciate it as a refined treat that reveals the full palette of Italian gastronomy.
