Fried ice cream in breadcrumbs is a true art of contrast, where a hot crispy crust meets the icy tenderness of creamy dessert. This recipe, originating from Italian cuisine, has become popular in restaurants worldwide due to its unique texture and exquisite flavor. The idea of frying ice cream arose from the desire to surprise gourmets with an unusual presentation of a familiar treat. Coconut flakes add a sweet nutty note, while the breading provides an appetizing crunch that conceals the cool core. It’s the perfect dessert for culinary experiment lovers as it combines warmth and cold, tenderness and crunch. It can be served with caramel or chocolate sauce, fresh berries or simply enjoyed for this magical play of textures and temperatures.

We heat refined sunflower oil and quickly dip portions of ice cream from the freezer into it. We do this very quickly, frying for about 20 seconds on each side. During this time, the ice cream inside doesn't have time to melt. The dessert will be warm on the outside and cold on the inside.
