Plum and apple jam is a fragrant treat that combines the tenderness of apples with the rich flavor of plums. Through multiple boiling, the jam acquires a thick consistency and a bright fruity taste with a slight acidity added by citric acid. Wash the apples and plums. Cut the plums in half and remove the pits and stems. Remove the seeds from the apples and slice them.
- Apple: 1 kg
- Plums: 1 kg

Boil water, dissolve sugar in it, and pour the syrup over the fruits.
- Water: 100 ml
- Sugar: 0.8 kg

Bring the jam to a boil and cook for 10 minutes, skimming off the foam. Leave to cool for about 4 hours. Repeat this 3 times. In the last, third time, cook the plum and apple jam for 10 minutes, then add citric acid and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Citric acid: 0.5 teaspoon
