Banana pear pie is a tender and aromatic dessert that combines the sweetness of ripe bananas and the juiciness of pears. This pie has its roots in American cuisine, where fruit pastries are very popular. Thanks to the natural sweetness of the fruits and the lightness of the dough, it is perfect for a cozy family tea or as an exquisite dessert for a festive table. Its texture is airy and moist, with soft fruity notes, while the subtle aroma of vanilla and caramelized pears deepens the flavor. The use of baking powder ensures tenderness in structure, while eggs add richness. This pie can be served warm or chilled, complemented by a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of cream sauce.

Mash the peeled bananas with a fork. Peel the pears, make a puree (in a blender). Mix with the banana mass and add sugar. Add milk, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt, and mix again. Add the eggs one by one, beating the mixture with a mixer on low speed or with a whisk. Finally, add the sifted flour mixed with baking powder and stir the dough until smooth.
