Microwave Cheesecake

120 minutes
Microwave cheesecake is a quick and elegant dessert inspired by a classic American recipe. Its delicate texture and creamy flavor harmonize with a light citrus note of orange juice. The base consists of crispy cookies soaked in melted butter, complementing the rich cheese layer. This cheesecake is prepared in just a few minutes in the microwave, making it an ideal option for a quick treat. After cooling, it gains density, and decoration with cocoa or berries adds a finished look. It can be served as a standalone dessert or paired with a cup of coffee for the perfect end to the day.

1
Mix the cookie crumbs with butter. Press the resulting mixture into molds to form the base for the cheesecake.
- Melted butter: 2 tablespoons
- Cookie: 50 g
2
At low speed, whip the cream cheese with sour cream. A few seconds is enough for the mixture to become homogeneous. Do not whip for too long to avoid creating too many air bubbles, which may cause the cheesecake to crack later.
- Cottage cheese: 120 g
- Sour cream: 120 g
3
Add powdered sugar and an egg, whisk again until smooth. Then add orange juice and gently mix. Pour into molds. Cook in the microwave at 700 W for about 2 minutes. When the center just starts to bubble, take it out.
- Powdered sugar: 60 g
- Chicken egg: 1 piece
- Orange juice: 2 tablespoons

The center of the finished cheesecake will wobble, but it will set when cooled. Let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for 1.5–2 hours until fully chilled.
5
Decorate as desired (with cocoa powder, berries, etc.).
