Vanilla buttons are a refined treat of European cuisine that delights with their playful shape and delicate taste. These miniature cookies, resembling buttons, are made from soft buttery dough with cream cheese added for tenderness and lightness. The vanilla note fills them with a subtle aroma, while food coloring allows for vibrant variations. The history of this dessert traces back to home baking, where not only the flavor but also the originality of presentation matters. They are conveniently served with tea or coffee, and their button shape makes them a fun treat for children. The crispy crust and airy texture make them an ideal choice for cozy evenings and festive occasions.
