Shaker-puri is an exquisite pastry from Azerbaijani cuisine that delights with its tenderness and sweet vanilla aroma. Its history is closely linked to the traditions of Eastern baking, where butter and sugar create the perfect blend of softness and rich flavor. With its airy dough and subtle vanilla hint, shaker-puri features a pleasant crispy crust and a melting core. Shaped like a crescent moon, it symbolizes Eastern aesthetics. It pairs perfectly with tea time, especially with strong black tea or fragrant green infusion. Baked at high temperatures, it becomes golden and fragile, while its simplicity makes it accessible even for novice cooks. The taste of shaker-puri embodies the warmth of home and hospitality, creating unforgettable moments at the table.
