Homemade Cherry Dumplings
2 servings
60 minutes
The dough for dumplings should be thin, so that the shell barely holds the juicy sweet filling. Don't be lazy and use a rolling pin.

1
Wash and remove the pits from the cherries (preferably sour cherries).
- Cherry: 200 g
2
Prepare the dough: beat the egg, salt, and water, then pour the mixture into the flour and knead a stiff dough — the stiffer the dough, the better it will stick.
- Chicken egg: 1 piece
- Salt: 1 teaspoon
- Water: 0.5 glass
- Wheat flour: 400 g
3
Roll out the dough and cut circles with a glass.
4
Place 3 or more cherries in each circle, sprinkle with about 0.5 teaspoon of sugar, carefully fold and pinch the edges like dumplings.
- Cherry: 200 g
- Sugar: 100 g
5
Send the dumplings into boiling water and cook until they float to the surface (about 3-5 minutes).
6
Remove, cool, and serve (you can sprinkle sugar on top of the ready dumplings).
- Sugar: 100 g
