Baked apples with nuts and honey are a cozy treat from European cuisine. The simple yet refined combination of honey's sweetness, nutty crunch, and warm spicy notes creates a harmony of flavors reminiscent of an autumn day by the fireplace. This dish can be found in culinary traditions of various countries, prepared for holidays or just for a cozy evening. The tender apple flesh infused with aromatic spices pairs excellently with nuts and raisins, while caramelized honey adds a unique depth of flavor. The dish is perfect served warm right after baking and pairs well with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a spoonful of thick yogurt. It not only delights the taste but also fills the home with a wonderful aroma that awakens the appetite and warms the soul.

1
Remove the core from the apples (it's better not to cut all the way through, making it easier to fill with the filling).
- Apple: 200 g
2
Mix ground nuts with spices and raisins. Stuff the apples with this mixture.
- Crushed walnuts: 30 g
- Raisin: 20 g
- Cinnamon: to taste
- Nutmeg: to taste
- Carnation: to taste
3
Place the apples on a baking tray or in a baking dish. Drizzle honey on top. Pour a little water at the bottom of the dish.
- Honey: 1 tablespoon
4
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake until the apples are very soft (the time depends on the variety and size of the fruits). Occasionally drizzle them with syrup — the result will be even better. Do not wait for them to cool!
