Apple gratin with oatmeal is a cozy and aromatic dish of European cuisine that embodies the warmth of home baking. The gratin, known for its crispy top layer, gains special tenderness in this version thanks to the combination of apples, cinnamon, and oats. The history of such desserts goes back to the traditions of French and English cuisine, where baked fruits are often complemented by a crunchy topping. This dessert is perfect for family breakfasts, heartfelt tea gatherings, and cozy evenings. Sweet, slightly caramelized apples soaked in lemon juice and fragrant cinnamon pair wonderfully with the crispy oat crust. Serve it warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of sour cream for even more enjoyment.
