Pear and Cheese Pie
4 servings
20 minutes
Pear and cheese pie is a refined blend of sweetness and spiciness inspired by exquisite French cuisine. Tender slices of pear caramelized in their own juice perfectly complement the rich nutty aroma of Gruyère cheese, creating a harmony of flavors. Crispy puff pastry envelops this composition, adding airiness and lightness to the pie. This dessert can be served warm or chilled, accompanied by a glass of white wine or a cup of fragrant tea. Traditionally, such pies were made in regional French provinces where combinations of fruits and cheese were especially valued. Today it is an excellent choice for those who want to try something unusual yet elegant and sophisticated.
