Melon-apple granita with fresh berries is a refreshing Italian dessert perfect for hot days. Originating from Sicily, granita is an icy dessert made from fruit juices. In this version, the sweetness of melon harmonizes with the tartness of apple juice and the freshness of lime, creating a balance of flavors. The light texture of the granita melts smoothly in the mouth, while the addition of blueberries, raspberries, and mint leaves gives the dessert an exquisite freshness and brightness. This dessert is ideal as a light finish to lunch or dinner, and its simplicity makes it accessible even for novice cooks.
