Baked Peaches Sandwich
4 servings
30 minutes
Peaches baked with brown sugar and lemon juice create a rich, caramelized flavor complemented by a hint of citrus. Their softness pairs perfectly with chilled vanilla ice cream, creating a contrast of temperatures and textures. Ginger cookies add a crunchy note and spiciness, making the dish even more layered. This dessert is perfect for summer evenings, romantic dinners, or cozy family gatherings.

1
Preheat the oven to 220 degrees. Grease the baking tray with vegetable oil.
2
Cut the peaches in half and remove the pits. Place them in a bowl and mix with lemon juice and sugar. Arrange the peaches on a baking sheet, cut side up, and bake in the oven for 20-30 minutes until soft (if the peach juice starts to burn early, add a little water and cover the baking sheet with foil).
