Plum jam is a cozy memory of homemade preparations and the traditions of Russian cuisine. Its rich flavor combines the sweetness of ripe plums with a spicy hint of cinnamon, creating a warm and aromatic palette. Historically, jams were used not only as desserts but also as additions to pastries or morning toasts. Slow baking in the oven reveals the depth of flavor, allowing the plums to caramelize and become rich. Plum jam pairs wonderfully with pancakes, cheese cakes, or fresh bread, providing a sense of homey comfort in every bite.
