The 'Béchamel' pie is a delightful combination of tender kefir dough and creamy cheese filling, enhanced with aromatic garlic. It resembles traditional European pies where the lightness of the dough harmonizes with the rich flavor of the filling. Its name may refer to the famous 'Béchamel' sauce known for its softness and creamy texture. The pie has a pleasant tanginess from the kefir, while melted cheeses give it a rich, slightly spicy taste. It is perfect for a cozy family dinner or a festive table. It can be served warm or slightly chilled, enjoying its delicate structure and rich aroma. Baking with such a combination of ingredients is an ideal option for those who love hearty yet light pastries with delicate flavors.
