Peel the melon from seeds and skin, cut into slices 1-1.5 cm thick, layer in a baking dish, drizzle with lemon juice, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon, add another layer of melon slices, drizzle with lemon juice again, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
- Melon: 1.5 kg
- Lemon juice: 1 tablespoon
- Cane sugar: to taste
- Cinnamon: pinch

Slice the oranges into rings and place them on top of the melon.
- Oranges: 1 piece

Place in the oven and bake at maximum temperature for one to one and a half hours until the oranges are confidently darkened (they can be discarded afterwards).
