Clean the rose hips from branches, cut them in half, and thoroughly remove the seeds. You should have 450-500 grams of cleaned rose hips.

In a large pot, mix the peeled rose hips, water, and sugar. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 30 minutes until soft, adding a little water if necessary.

Pour into a sieve and strain, squeezing out all the juice. If necessary, add more sugar, pour into a pot, and cook on low heat until it reaches jam consistency. Pour into sterilized jars and seal tightly.
