Berlin cookies with passion fruit are an exquisite combination of crispy puff pastry and an exotic fruit accent. This dessert hails from Germany and resembles traditional Berlin cookies but with a unique tropical twist. Prepared using a special folding technique, it takes the shape of elegant hearts, making it not only delicious but also aesthetically pleasing. The passion fruit glaze adds a delightful sweet-sour freshness that perfectly complements the tender texture of the pastry. It is the perfect treat for a cozy tea time, especially when paired with aromatic black or herbal tea. Berlin cookies with passion fruit are a modern reinterpretation of classic German baking, blending European traditions with exotic flavors.

1
Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle measuring 35x30 cm, sprinkle with sugar, and fold the 35 cm edges to meet in the center. Then fold the resulting rectangle in half and cut it into 1 cm thick slices with a sharp knife. Place the cut slices cut side up on the prepared baking sheet, slightly unfold them, and press with your palm to form hearts.
