Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl, except for sugar: flour, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger, clove, nutmeg.
- Wheat flour: 270 g
- Baking powder: 13 g
- Cinnamon: 1 teaspoon
- Ground ginger: 0.5 teaspoon
- Ground cloves: 0.3 teaspoon
- Nutmeg: 0.3 teaspoon

Beat the eggs with a pinch of salt using a mixer.

Add sugar in small portions while continuing to beat.

Carefully, in parts, add flour, mixing with a silicone spatula until a uniform mass.

The amount of batter is calculated for an 18 cm mold, where two layers need to be baked alternately. Bake each layer for 30-40 minutes at 175 degrees, checking readiness with a toothpick.
