Pumpkin jam is a cozy dessert with a golden hue, delightful aroma, and unusual taste. In Russian cuisine, it is known for its soft sweetness with a light citrus note from the orange. The pumpkin gives the jam a delicate texture while sugar adds thickness and a caramel shade. This recipe was popular in villages where pumpkins grew abundantly, allowing for delicious winter preparations. The jam pairs perfectly with tea or as a filling for pastries. It can be spread on toast, served with pancakes, or simply enjoyed by the spoonful of this sunny treat. The taste of the jam is a gentle blend of sweetness and freshness that awakens warm memories of cozy evenings at home.
