Muffins are small airy cakes that come from European cuisine. Their history goes back to the distant past when English bakers made them for breakfast. Tender, sweet, with a slight tang of sour cream and the aroma of nuts and raisins, they are perfect for a cozy tea time. Baked to a golden crust, muffins surprise with their softness and pleasant texture. They can be served as a dessert, snack, or an addition to morning coffee. Sprinkled with powdered sugar, they become especially appetizing, creating an atmosphere of home comfort. The simplicity of preparation and variety of fillings make them a universal treat loved in different corners of the world.
