Dried Fruit Candies

The simplest recipe - ground dried fruits give viscosity, allowing you to mold a vegan candy. Recipe by chef Eduard Sorokovikov from Brodo Bar & Kitchen.

Put dates in the mixer bowl.
- Pitted dates: 60 g

Add prunes there.
- Prunes: 30 g

Put in cherry and cranberry.
- Dried cherries: 60 g
- Dried cranberries: 40 g

Send the almonds there.
- Almond: 30 g

Add orange juice.
- Orange juice: 10 ml

Blend until homogeneous. The mass will be quite thick, depending on the dried fruits. It is necessary to blend in several batches, mixing the mass with a spatula. If there is no cutter at home, you can pass the dried fruits through a meat grinder twice or chop them with a knife, but the consistency will not be as homogeneous.

Add chia seeds to the mass.
- Chia seeds: 10 g

Mix well and put the mass in the refrigerator. These candies are most delicious and refreshing when very cold, and they are very temperature-resistant and can be stored on the shelf for a long time in dry coating.

After cooling the mixture, divide it into equal pieces.

Roll the pieces into balls. Serve.
