Apricot jam

30 minutes
Apricot jam is a fragrant treat that combines the sweetness of ripe fruits with a refreshing citrus note. Historically, apricot jam was valued for its delicate texture and deep, rich flavor. This recipe uses dried apricots, allowing the fruits to absorb the sweetness of the syrup and reveal their natural tartness. The addition of orange zest gives the jam a special zestiness, making it an ideal complement to morning toast, pancakes, or even a cheese platter. The jam can be used for desserts like pies or as a filling for buns. Its rich flavor and pleasant aroma create an atmosphere of homey comfort, reminiscent of traditional family recipes passed down through generations.
