The 'Ant Hill' cake with walnuts is a true embodiment of home comfort and taste nostalgia. Its roots go back to Russian cuisine, where a simple yet original cooking method won many hearts. Crispy golden pieces of dough passed through a meat grinder combined with a delicate cream made from boiled condensed milk and butter create an amazing texture. Walnuts add a savory note, while poppy seeds provide a light crunch. The cake resembles an anthill, which is how it got its name.
