Soft oatmeal bread is a cozy treat from Danish cuisine, combining a tender texture and light sweetness of honey. In Denmark, oat flour is used to give the bread softness and rich flavor. This bread has a subtle aroma of butter and yogurt, making it especially pleasant for breakfast or a light snack. Its airy crumb pairs well with jams, cream cheese, or honey. Thanks to the simplicity of making it in a bread maker, it’s an excellent choice for home bakers. This bread is not only tasty but also healthy—oat flour enriches it with fiber while honey adds gentle sweetness without excessive cloying. An ideal option for cozy family tea times!
