Cookies for tea are a simple and cozy pastry that has become a favorite addition to family tea gatherings. They originate from Russian cuisine, where heartfelt homemade recipes are valued. Their taste is soft, creamy, with a slight sweetness, creating harmony with hot tea or coffee. The pleasant texture with a tender crust makes the cookies especially appetizing. They are perfect for leisurely conversations and cozy evenings. The simplicity of preparation makes them accessible even to novice cooks. Cookies are good fresh but can be frozen to enjoy the warmth of homemade baking later. This is true classic that evokes memories of childhood and home comfort.
