Berry sand pie is a true celebration of taste and tenderness. Its origins trace back to European baking traditions, where special emphasis is placed on the combination of airy dough and fresh fruits. The crumbly sandy base, infused with the aroma of vanilla and butter, perfectly complements the juicy filling of strawberries topped with apple or apricot jam. This pie is not only delicious but also versatile – it can be made with various berries and fruits, altering the flavor nuances. It will be the perfect ending to a festive dinner or a cozy tea time, bringing joy with every bite. The light tartness of the fruits harmonizing with the sweetness of powdered sugar makes this dessert truly magical.

Sift the flour through a fine sieve, gather it into a mound, make a well in the center, and add sour cream, a raw egg, sugar, softened butter, and vanillin. Knead the dough and place it in a cold place for a while. On a floured board, roll out the dough to a thickness of 1/2 cm and place it on a metal sheet. Place a large plate upside down on top of the dough, cut around it with the tip of a knife, then remove the plate, leaving the dough on the sheet. Combine the cut pieces of dough, roll them out again, and cut into strips 2 cm wide. Arrange these strips along the edge of the circle, greased with egg, pinching them into a crest shape.
