Chocolate mousse

Chocolate mousse is the simplest thing. It is easy to prepare, the main thing is to find the right, and most importantly, real chocolate. This recipe uses two types of it. Dark for the base, from which, in fact, the mousse is made. And milk, which is optional here - you need to sprinkle the finished dessert beautifully with it, but if you don't really like milk chocolate, then you can easily skip this step. Decorate the mousse with whipped cream, and they are very useful here: they soften the natural bitterness of dark chocolate .

Melt the chocolate in a water bath, stirring occasionally. Then set aside.
- Dark chocolate: 140 g

Whip the chilled cream to soft peaks.
- Cream 33%: 400 ml

Whip the egg whites to soft peaks, gradually adding sugar.
- Egg white: 3 pieces
- Sugar: 50 g

Whisk the chocolate with the egg whites until smooth.
- Dark chocolate: 140 g
- Egg white: 3 pieces

Add cream and mix until smooth.
- Cream 33%: 400 ml

Place the mousse in individual cups, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for a couple of hours.

Before serving, decorate the mousse with whipped cream and grated chocolate.
