The cake 'Smetannik' in chocolate glaze is a delicate and airy treat with a rich creamy flavor complemented by a chocolate note. This dessert originates from Russian cuisine, where sour cream is widely used to create soft and moist layers. The base of the cake consists of two types of layers: classic vanilla and rich chocolate, soaked in sweet sour cream frosting. The final touch is a thick chocolate glaze that adds depth of flavor and makes it particularly appealing. 'Smetannik' is perfect for cozy family tea gatherings and festive occasions. Its tenderness, slight tang from the sour cream, and velvety sweetness of the glaze make this cake a favorite among many generations.
