British dessert bread is a refined blend of classic English traditions and exquisite flavor. Its origin can be linked to traditional British scones – airy buns served with tea. However, this version gains a unique character from the addition of aromatic Baileys liqueur and the citrus freshness of orange zest. The delicate dough, enriched with cream and sour cream, becomes soft and airy, while the golden crust adds a crispy texture. This dessert is perfect for tea time, especially with a cup of strong black tea. Its pleasant creamy taste with subtle notes of vanilla and citrus creates a cozy atmosphere and offers a moment of enjoyment, turning an ordinary day into a small celebration.
