Prepare a mixture for sprinkling by mixing both types of sugar (regular and vanilla) and ground cinnamon.
- Sugar: 75 g
- Ground cinnamon: 13 g
- Vanilla sugar: 13 g

Crush the nuts into crumbs about 3x3 mm.
- Peeled walnuts: 10 g

Divide the dough into four equal strips and place them on a floured table. For one portion, use three strips of 62.5 grams each. Sprinkle them with 1/3 of the coating mixture and roll them in a spiral overlapping on a metal rolling pin (4 cm in diameter), brushing with sugar syrup and securing well. Brush the resulting spindle with sugar syrup on top, sprinkle with the remaining sugar-cinnamon mixture and crushed nuts.
- Yeast puff pastry: 183 g
- Wheat flour: 3 g
- Sugar syrup: 35 ml
- Sugar: 75 g
- Ground cinnamon: 13 g
- Peeled walnuts: 10 g

Place the dough on a rolling pin on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Put it in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20 minutes.

Carefully remove the baked dough in the shape of a tube from the metal rolling pin. Place the trdelník on a wooden board with parchment, and next to it, place the grilled baked apple. Dust the dessert and apple with powdered sugar.
