Caramelized Pears and Lemon Zest Pie

Pear pie with caramelized pears and lemon zest is a refined treat inspired by Russian baking traditions. Its harmony of flavors captivates from the first moment: a tender dough based on cottage cheese, infused with the aroma of vanilla and lemon freshness, hides juicy pears caramelized in cane sugar underneath. The caramel gives the pie a deep sweetness with a light hint of caramel spice that turns each slice into a true gastronomic delight. This pie is perfect for a cozy family tea time when you want to warm up with homey comfort and treat yourself to a sweet indulgence. It’s best served slightly warm so that the caramel remains soft and the flavor unfolds even more.
