Gazpacho is an iconic cold soup of Spanish cuisine, known for its freshness and vibrant flavor. Its history traces back to Andalusia, where farmers used available vegetables to prepare a refreshing dish. The base of gazpacho consists of ripe tomatoes, cucumbers, and sweet peppers that together create a rich, refreshing taste with a slight tanginess. Cilantro and Tabasco add spicy notes while olive oil provides smoothness. Gazpacho is the perfect dish for a hot day; it is served chilled and sometimes accompanied by crispy croutons or fresh vegetables. This soup not only refreshes but also nourishes due to the vitamins and antioxidants in its ingredients.
