Strawberry-basil shrub is a refreshing French drink that combines the sweetness of strawberries with subtle herbal notes of basil and a light spiciness of black pepper. Shrubs, known since the 18th century, were used as concentrated syrups mixed with water or alcohol. This drink surprises with its complex flavor: the bright fruity acidity of raspberry vinegar complements the sweetness of the sugar infusion, while basil adds freshness. Ideal for a hot day or as an exotic addition to cocktails. It can be mixed with sparkling water or added to lemonades for unique combinations. Strawberry-basil shrub is a harmony of fruits, spices, and herbs embodied in elegant French style.
