Add all ingredients to the pot.
- Soy sauce: 150 ml
- Mirin: 100 ml
- Ground ginger: 2 teaspoons
- Cane sugar: 6 teaspoons
- Ground dried garlic: 1 teaspoon
- Starch: 2 teaspoons
- Honey: 2 tablespoons
- Lemon juice: 1 tablespoon
- Water: 0.3 glass
- Olive oil: 1 teaspoon

Turn on medium heat and, stirring occasionally, bring to a boil and cook for another 5 minutes.

Let it cool down. If it doesn't look very thick, that's okay; after a while, it will thicken. The teriyaki sauce is ready.

After 15-20 minutes, when the sauce cools down a bit, it should be poured into a glass container with a lid. It should be stored in the refrigerator.
