Green Chili and Cilantro Sauce

Green sauce made from chili and cilantro is a fragrant, spicy addition to Indian dishes with a rich flavor of fresh herbs and hot peppers. Its roots trace back to traditional Indian cuisine where fresh sauces play an important role in creating layered flavors. Cilantro adds freshness to the sauce while garlic and onion provide spiciness. Olive oil makes the texture smooth and salt and pepper balance the heat. This sauce pairs perfectly with meat, fish, rice, and flatbreads, adding depth of flavor. It can be used as a marinade or dip. It's easy to prepare: all ingredients are mixed into a homogeneous paste. The finished sauce refreshes dishes and makes them more flavorful.
